About the Fast Stream Assessment Centre
The Fast Stream Assessment Centre (FSAC) is a half-day online assessment centre that selects candidates with the calibre and potential to join the Fast Stream.
Research shows that assessment centres make more accurate predictions about how you will perform at work than other recruitment methods. Fast Stream standards are high and to have reached the assessment centre is a significant achievement in itself.
The FSAC gives you the chance to show that you have the skills and personal qualities to be a successful fast streamer. Our aim is to measure each candidate’s potential against set criteria.
You will complete three exercises remotely:
- Written Advice Exercise
- Stakeholder Communication ExerciseÂ
- Personal Development Conversation
The first two exercises completed at FSAC – the written advice exercise and the stakeholder communication exercise – will share a common overarching policy theme.
Your performance in each exercise will be marked independently of each other and by different assessors.
