The Senior Talent and Resourcing Team has two key objectives;

To deliver excellent HR policies and practice in support of Permanent Secretaries

We ensure that the Civil Service has the highest calibre of senior leaders and that they can perform at their best.

We own and deliver the full HR life cycles for Permanent Secretaries, including the end-to-end recruitment process, performance management and pay.

To deliver end-to-end talent and career management for Directors General (DGs)

We ensure that the Civil Service has the right people and capabilities in place to respond to complex leadership challenges. We own and deliver the end-to-end DG recruitment process for most DG roles, including work to attract and support external candidates and develop those with the most potential to progress.
