But it doesn’t stop there – we will sponsor the qualifications you need to get full professional accreditation whilst also helping you develop the leadership and management skills you need to build a fantastic career.

Become a leader of tomorrow

Alongside the Property Fast Stream, we run a Leadership Development Programme in partnership with Henley Business School. This programme helps our leaders of tomorrow build excellent property leadership skills.

It is open to colleagues with the aspiration to move into a property leadership role. Delivered over a twelve month period, this programme leads to a Post Graduate Certificate in Government Property Leadership.

Accessible entry routes, available to all

We have two main entry routes for those who are keen to enter the world of Government Property with no prior experience.

Property Apprenticeships 

By joining one of our apprenticeships, you will have the opportunity to gain a professional qualification (up to degree level) in a property specialism and kickstart your career in Government Property. You will also be part of a strong, supportive and inclusive community of apprentices and mentors, giving you access to fun group events, fascinating site visits, and the space to ask questions and receive high quality advice both from peers and experienced Government Property Professionals.

Property Fast Stream

Ranked the Times Number One Graduate Scheme for the past 4 years, this four-year leadership development programme is the perfect entry route for graduates or existing Civil Servants who want to experience life in different government departments whilst also ensuring rapid career progression and well-rounded development. You will receive exceptional access to training, a level 6 or 7 diploma and chartered membership with a world-renowned professional body (RICS or IWFM), whilst also being part of a cohort of like-minded and ambitious peers going through the same journey as you are.
