Staff diversity networks
Our staff diversity networks are open to everyone in HMRC and are a great way to learn more about others and celebrate our diversity. The networks provide a forum to discuss ideas and concerns to help eliminate barriers that exist for our people and customers.

Each network has directly had an impact on influencing decision-making, business strategies and ultimately improving the way HMRC operates. You can join any of these networks when you start with us and getting involved is easy.
Health and wellbeing
Wellbeing is incredibly important to us. Taking care of our physical and mental wellbeing helps increase creativity and job satisfaction and means that we’re more likely to fulfil our potential.
We have a range of initiatives in place to help employees focus on wellbeing. These include our Employee Assistance Programme which offers free, confidential advice and support for a number of issues including work, family and personal issues. We also regularly hold wellbeing workshops and sessions, and have a range of additional resources to support you with everything from physical heath to financial wellbeing.
I’m so pleased that HMRC champions and supports LGBT+ issues. Our senior leaders underline the importance of diversity and inclusion, it’s a key part of HMRC’s values and strategy.
